On a great occasion, the divine child was born in Thuthukudi, a town in southern India, for the Advaita Jnani Brahmasri Vadivel Swamigal and a Longing Mother Sri Lakshmi Ammal on January 28, 1930. The little one was named Karuppaswamy and brought up with the core knowledge of  Divine Discipline and Humility.

Even though the child lost his focus on materialistic studies, from the age of eight, the little baba concentrated on listening to the bios of realised saints, Chanting the name of the Lord, and learning the Scriptures like Thevaram and Thiruvasakam, the devotional text of Lord Shiva. From the age of ten, his father himself became a Guru and taught him experiential wisdom. Although Baba doesn't have an interest in family affairs, after the death of his mother, he married an innocent soul Sri Swarnambal under his father's direction.

Baba served as an entrepreneur for around eighteen years and compled his duties with longing devotion, during that time, baba experienced the state of death at the age of thirty-six, by the grace of his Gurudev, Baba conquered death by giving death to death.

From 1965 onwards the disciples embarked on him due to his glory of knowledge being recognized. With his boundless devotion, in 1970, Lord Sri Panduranga himself accompanied him for about a year on a pilgrimage all over the country and Mount Kailash.  After that, Baba accepted the service of his Gurudev and continued it with sincere devotion.

In 1996, with the grace of Lord Arunachala, an Ashram was established under the name of "Annamalai Ramana Kutiram" in ThiruAnnamalai, where the teachings of "Ribu Gita" initiated for the longing national and international disciples. After that, with the blessings of Lord Krishna and the wish of his disciples, "Anbin Kudil" was inaugurated in 2000 on the laps of the river "Mother Sri Kaveri"

The disciples from all around the world, who are thirsting for Liberation and Wisdom have received the teachings, which, liberated them from all worldly griefs, and supported them to realise  the self and experience the ultimate knowledge.

Baba has travelled all over the country once again with "Endless Grace and Infinite Love" in search of longing and unrealised souls.​ Baba graced earnest disciples by composing innumerable texts about self-realisation and spontaneous experience of the self  in a very modest manner to explain the unexplainable aspects. Baba has written unique letters to enhance the achievement of the individuals. And also Baba has given clear cut ideas about attaining the self to Unrealised Souls, Unsettled Scholars, Faithful Followers, Distressed Households, Immature Believers, Wild Youths and Innocent Infants through his discourses.

"Sri Satguru Thuli Baba" attained Maha Samadhi on 19th January 2016, after his purpose of an avatar was performed as his Gurudev bestowed.

Sri Satguru Thuli Baba is an embodiment of

"Love" and "Humility",

"Devotion" and "Kindness",

"Simplicity" and "Perfection",

"Grace" and "Wisdom",

"Bliss" and "Ecstatic smile".
